White Haze on Pavers: What It Is, How to Remove It, and Why It Costs More

You walk out to the driveway after a hard rain and the pavers look like someone dusted them with powdered sugar. A chalky white film sits across the surface — heaviest where water pools, lightest where the sun hits hardest. Scrub it with a hose and it seems to fade. Wait a week and it's back, sometimes worse.

That's not dirt. It's either efflorescence (mineral salts bleeding out of the concrete) or a failed sealer that has turned milky from trapped moisture.
